In addition to being able to win a Bronze, Silver, or Gold medal, students are eligible to win many different sponsored awards. Here are some of the awards that have been confirmed for the 2024 fair.

An-Noor Private School - Health Sciences Award
A $100.00 prize and a gold medal are sponsored by An-Noor Private School and presented to the top projects in the novice, junior, intermediate, and senior divisions. This award acknowledges projects with the outstanding scientific quality designed to highlight the dynamic aspects of health and the human body. Projects should be presented with motivation and be artistically displayed. The hope is that projects such as these will enhance the quality of life for all humanity. An-Noor Private School - Innovation Award
An-Noor Private School will sponsor and present a $100.00 prize and a gold medal to the top Engineering projects in the novice, junior, intermediate, and senior divisions. This award acknowledges exceptional innovative projects applying principles of engineering and technology, expressed with resourceful enthusiasm. ASHRAE - Energy Conservation Award
Medals and a prize will be presented to the best Novice, Junior, Intermediate and Senior projects related to conservation of energy. Sponsored by the Windsor Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, (ASHRAE) Sponsored by ASHRAE.

Avinus Creative Thinking Award
This award will recognize the efforts in a computer science project in any division. Winner will receive a gift card. Sponsored by Avinus.

Bourse du CscProvidence pour les meilleurs projets francophones
Les meilleurs projets francophones dans la division novice, juniors, intermédiaires et séniors partageront un prix et leurs enseignants recevront également une bourse pour achat de ressources scientifiques. Les prix seront a partager si c'est un groupe de deux.Sponsored by Conseil scolaire catholique Providence.

Dr. Deans' Promising Young Scientist Award
A certificate and gift card will be presented to young scientists in each division who exhibit outstanding ingenuity and enthusiasm for their project and show great promise in their future scientific careers.Sponsored by Drs. Robin and Joan Deans.

FACCA Technology Award
This project should be related to engineering technology, tool and mold making and/or applied sciences. A medal and $50 prize will be presented to the best projects in Novice, Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions. Sponsored by FACCA Incorporated.

Genio Tech - Robotics Award
A certificate and monetary award will be provided to three outstanding projects in any division and any category which apply robotics and coding to address a real world issue. Sponsored by Genio Tech.

Greater Essex County District School Board Prize
This prize will contribute $2,000 towards the travel expenses and cost of sending one of the top science fair project winners to the Canada Wide Science Fair this May. All categories will be considered. Sponsored by Greater Essex County District School Board.

Legal Focus LLP - Persuasive Scientific Writing Award
A medallion and monetary gift will be presented to two students in each of the junior, intermediate and senior divisions who demonstrate exemplary written communication skills.Sponsored by Legal Focus LLP.

Novice - Gold Medal Excellence Award
A medal and monetary award will be presented to each of the Novice Gold Medal Excellence Award winners generously sponsored by Dr. Amani Zabalawi.Sponsored by Dr. Amani Zabalawi.

PEO - Engineering Award
A plaque and $100 prize will be presented to the best Junior, Intermediate and Senior Project related to Engineering and/or applied science. Partners must split the prize. Sponsored by Professional Engineers Ontario - Windsor Essex.

Promotion of Science Award
All of the Promotion of Science Awards celebrate both science and engineering achievements. It recognizes extraordinary achievement in the disciplines of life sciences, physical and mathematical sciences, and engineering. In addition, $200 will be given to the top performing high school for the purchase of scientific equipment. Sponsored by University of Windsor - Office of the Vice-President Research and Innovation.

Rose City Elementary School - Computer Science and Mathematics Award
A medallion and monetary award will be presented to three projects in the novice division for their innovative use of computer programming and mathematics in the project design. If a partner project is chosen, the prize will be shared.Sponsored by Rose City Elementary School.

Rose City Elementary School - Engineering Award
A medallion and monetary award will be presented to three projects in the novice division for their ingenious use of engineering principles in their project presentation. If a partner project is chosen, the award will be shared.Sponsored by Rose City Elementary School.

Rose City Elementary School - Robotics Award
A medallion and monetary award will be presented to three projects in the novice division for their innovative use of robotic technology in the project design. Sponsored by Rose City Elementary School.

Sanofi Biogenius Canada Award
An outstanding project by students in grades 7-12 related to biotechnology – the use of biological systems to produce goods and services – or life sciences will be awarded a certificate and a $100.00 monetary prize.Sponsored by Sanofi Biogenius Canada .

Science Rendez-Vous Showcase Award
Three outstanding projects will be selected to be showcased at Science Rendez-vous in May at the University of Windsor. Sponsored by Science Rendez-Vous.

Senior Division - Gold Excellence Award
A medal and monetary award will be presented to each of the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Division Gold Medal Excellence Award winners generously sponsored by Tandem Engineering Group.Sponsored by Tandem Engineering Group.

St-Clair College CWSF Grand Prize
This prize will contribute towards the travel expenses and cost of sending two of the top science fair project winners to Canada Wide Science Fair in May to Ottawa. All categories will be considered. Sponsored by St-Clair College.

The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy Health Innovation Award
Two medallions monetary awards will be awarded to projects which develop an innovative solution to a health care problem and improve the health of patients. If partner projects are chosen, the prizes will be shared.Sponsored by The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy.

University of Windsor - Faculty of Education Excellence Award
This $500 award bursary celebrates the involvement and encouragement provided by the teacher and school in supporting student participation and encouraging excellence. It is given to the school that receives the most medals (bronze 1 pt, silver 5 pts, gold 8 pts.) A school may win the award only once in a three year period. Sponsored by University of Windsor - Faculty of Education.

University of Windsor - Faculty of Science Prize
The University of Windsor Faculty of Science Prize will recognize an outstanding science project. This prize will contribute $2,000 towards the travel expenses of the winning scientist so that they can attend the Canada Wide Science Fair. Projects in all categories will be considered for this award.Sponsored by University of Windsor - Faculty of Science.

University of Windsor Entrance Scholarship
The University of Windsor seeks to acknowledge the best Gold Medal Winning senior project from the WRSTEF. This $2000 scholarship will be applied to tuition fees when the student is registered in an undergraduate Science or Engineering program at the University of Windsor. In the case of a partner project each student would receive a $1000.00 admission scholarship. Sponsored by University of Windsor - Student Awards and Financial Aid.

University Of Windsor Faculty Of Nursing Health Sciences Award
This award seeks to acknowledge the best three Novice/Junior, Intermediate and Senior projects which demonstrate experimental research in the field of health. A A certificate and $50 bursary will be presented to the three best Novice/Junior, Intermediate and Senior projects. Sponsored by University of Windsor - Faculty of Nursing.

uOttawa Entrance Scholarship
$1,000 entrance scholarship applied to tuition fees when the student registers in an undergraduate program at the faculties of Science or Engineering at the University of Ottawa. In the case of a two-student project, each student will receive a $1000 admission scholarship if they register in appropriate undergraduate programs at the University of Ottawa. Sponsored by UOttawa.

WRSTEF CWSF Prize
This prize will contribute towards the travel expenses and cost of sending an outstanding science fair project winner to Canada Wide Science Fair in May to Ottawa. All categories will be considered. Sponsored by WRSTEF.
